INCB President addresses 4th African Union Conference of Ministers for Drug Control and Crime Prevention in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia

Today, on October 1st 2010, INCB President Prof. Hamid Ghodse, accompanied by the Secretary of the Board, Mr. Jonathan Lucas, addressed the Fourth Session of the African Union Conference of Ministers for Drug Control and Crime Prevention in Addis-Ababa which was opened under the theme "Turning the tide of drugs and crime in Africa - from policy to action" , by the President of  Ethiopia H.E. Girma Woldegiorgis  and which was also attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the AU Commission Mr. Erastus Mwencha.

The INCB President emphasized on the need for regulatory aspects of drug control to be addressed by African countries.
