Secretary of INCB

Mr. Mark Colhoun (South Africa) has been appointed as Secretary of the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) and Chief of the INCB Secretariat effective 1 March 2021.

Prior to his appointment as Secretary of INCB, Mr. Colhoun served as the UNODC Representative for the Country Office in Afghanistan. He has also served UNODC as Deputy Representative (Afghanistan), Senior Law Enforcement Advisor (Afghanistan and the Regional Office for Central Asia) and has served INCB as Technical Advisor.

Before joining the United Nations, Mr. Colhoun worked with the South African Police in counter narcotics law enforcement.

Mr. Colhoun holds a Master's Degree in Security Studies from London Metropolitan University.
