INCB participation in UNGASS round tables on cross-cutting issues and alternative development

21 April 2016 - On the last day of the General Assembly's special session, the INCB delegation participated in the round tables on cross-cutting issues and alternative development.

INCB Second Vice-President, Ms. Jajit Pavadia, made a statement on the issue of "Cross-cutting issues: new challenges, threats and realities in preventing and addressing the world drug problem in compliance with relevant international law, including the three drug control conventions; strengthening the principle of common and shared responsibility and international cooperation".

At the round table on "Alternative development; regional, interregional and international cooperation on development-oriented balanced drug control policy; addressing socioeconomic issues", the INCB Member Francisco E. Thoumi delivered a statement on the subject
